In this card I've used Fishing Tilda Image, Magnolia Doohickeys Die Cuts, Paper patterns from EP-Little Girl, made some stitching with the help of my portable sewing machine and I coloured my image using copic ciao.

Time for Magnolia Challenges

Good morning everyone!!! Ramadan is almost over, weather is getting favorable to us and the most important thing is I took my holiday starting today 'till Sunday ;o) (off work) it means I have more time to play with my stamps and enjoy what makes me happy. And to start with, let me share this project that I've been seating now for 3 nights every after office work. It;s a small sewing kit.

This box used to contain a wallet ;o) hubbies gift on my birthday 2 years ago, YES !!! always keeps those boxes for future projects like this

In ths card I've used this Sweet Tilda, and the crochete doily is from a very good friend Yasmin, organza flowers, leaves and white lace from Phil., and used tim holtz bird & cage die cut, oblong die cuts from spellbinders, martha stewart punches, and WOJ sentiments and half pearls.

And Love making eassel cards, makes easy to display.

Happy Saturday to you All !!! hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and having Fun making cards and other paper crafts projects. I have been quiet busy this weekend making few to make-up those few weeks that I have been away, busy @ work and organizing an event.

This is my entry to All Sorts Challenge # 95 - Gift Box. this chipboard tag is a from my new skirt I bought recently @ Massimo Dutti ;o) it's actually a Price TAG, thought it will be useful for making cards.

& this one, think this is the heaviest card so far that I have made ;o), with so much layering, stitching + the chipboard price tag which i got also from my new tops, isn't that amazing, you can used some embellishments without spending a single cents...

Hi everyone!!! Happy Friday to u all!!! FINALLY, after several weeks been absent in blogging WORLD, I'm back ;o) and I miss making cards, that is why I'm keeping myself this weekened busy making few to share to all of you. Raining, Earthquake in Dubai, UAE

Yes, you heard me right..... Raining since yesterday and we had an earthquake last night too ;o( And this morning on my way to work, 1 huge accident again, a 4x4 car smashed like a sandwich, saloon cars overturned and 4-5 saloon cars is badly hit too.... What a DAY.... I am not sure is this is common too in other country, but here in Dubai, seems very common, I notice some of the reasons 1. on the phone (mobile) while driving 2. Over speeding 3. Arrogant and etc. etc. But since last year, when recession starts, it was lessen somehow...

Anyhow, I'm here to share another Birthday Card to you all, using again one of my favorite WOJ Stamp, Henry, I'm going to enter this card in the following challenge.

Good evening to all, it's been a while I know, usual been very busy at work & extra curricular activities during weekends, like doing our laundry, cleaning, ironing, cooking and etc. etc.

So far weather in the U.A.E. is getting better, feels like summer in the Philippines ;o) just few more weeks and will have this nice nice cool breeze air.

Quilling - Miniatures

It's been awhile since I've posted something in my blog, kind of busy lately, full time job, extra curricular activities with friends and families ;o) having such a nice time lately, but it doesn't mean that I am not doing any paper crafts ;o)

Down here is a Quilled Miniatures - Angels & Fairies to hang around in our tiiiinnnnny Christmas Tree and to sample them everytime we have an ARTE Soukh.

I've used 1/4" paper strips, color ivory, pink shades, gold, brown & yellow for the body, & face and white for wings w/ gold at the end, for the hair its 1/8" paper strips, arms & legs are paper tissue.

Hope you like it as much as I do while makin them.

Hi, happy Tuesday to all ;o) Feel so guilty for myself, wish I have more time to make and create cards. But sad to say, aside from my fulltime job, been always in bed, copping with my asthma and lately of mind grain.

Hello ;o) sorry guys, if your not seeing me lately. I have been very busy preparing for my 3D Decoupage & Quilling Classes @ ARTE Soukh Market in Festival City. This will begun on the 20th of August 2010 for four consecutive Fridays, mainly will be focusing on 3D Decoupage & Quilling.

So far I have my flyers ready, thanks to my dear cousin Allet & my sister, Queenie for helping me out. Got another week to prepare the tools, materials & etc. for this classes. But first, will focus on ARTE Soukh Market for tomorrow.

Hi everyone!!! Yesterday I had to take a rest from full time job again after my MRI last Saturday, headache is still on and off since then. Just to ignore the pain I need to do something :o) thank goodness, for the 1st time for almost 5 years, my 1st ever handmande Anniversary card to my Hubby !!!! and he loves it very very much....

Also, since I am trying to get back on my feet and be an active member once again of ARTE - Artist of the Emirates I tried to finish some QUILLING Projects to sample them on our next Soukh Market this coming Friday 30th July 2010 in Festival City, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Final Baptismal Invitation

Hi, hello everyone!!! Finally, had time to finish this Baptismal Invitation for Lejani's baby boy. She wants some blue color on it, so I decided to change the ribbon & the background in light blue. Inside & outside I've used a digistamp from Digital Stamp Boutique, very simple yet elegant and very easy to color them also took the extra bottons from my hubby's shirt ;o)

Inside comes into 2 pages and down here is the 1st page, Blue Ribbon and Embosed the paper using Sizzix

Hello, Yes you heard me, shame, shame, shame on me, forgot our Big Boss B-day last 1st of June, to make-up to him, had to wake up as early as 4:00am to make a card and gave him one of my favorite 3D Paper Tole - Anton Pieck as a presents.

Hello, it's June already and four more months before the weather in Gulf countries like U.A.E. gets bit cooler. On my way to office today this is what you'll see in the road ;o( Sandstorm, sandstorm & sandstorm + the left and right building construction.

Anyhow, I have some nice things to share to everyone. Last night had a spare time to tide up my embellishment, some of it was given by a friend, sisters and the rest got it from local shop here in Dubai in a very reasonable price. Hubby is always complaining of my cluttered stuff, but this is only a part of it, and still have tons to put things in places after we move to our new little tiny nest, will tell some other time why I call it little tiny nest.

Good morning everyone!!! Hope your having a nice weather, cause here in .the U.A.E. we are expecting to heat 45 degrees today even more in other part of the gulf countries. Over the years living here, me and my husband get use of the weather. Most the people here stays a lot at home and rarely you can see someone walking in the streets, park & etc. from 10am 'till 7:00pm but of course the Mall which Dubai is currently famous at, still pack of people, shopping but mostly just window shopping ;o)

Anyway, I am excited to share these new cards to you all, it's my first time to have this stamp, after almost 3 months of waiting to get them in my hands finally received them last week. Magnolia, Magnolia ohhh Magnolia. Had so much fun making the cards and play with all the embellishment I've used, from paper flowers & leaves which dear friend gave me, shiny Diamond Stickles, Martha Stewart Butterfly Puncher, Swarovski Black, Rainbow Stones, couldn't wait to get home and start another cards....

Hello, Happy Tuesday to all. It's getting warm here in the U.A.E. during day time temperature is reaching 38 degrees and we are expecting it to get even worse and the humidity when summer hits U.A.E., I tell you, it’s unbearable. Last Saturday when I came to see my Dr. he warned me of my asthma :o(

Last Friday one lady approach me at the ARTE and ask if I can make several BUTTERFLY in different design she was thinking to use them in her brother’s wedding to hang them around or spread them in the wedding table reception. Good morning!!! I really miss making cards.

I sold few pieces @ ARTE Soukh yesterday in Times Square. It was a long DAY, luckily hubby was there to accompany me and help me all throughout the day. Although we're bit tired yesterday, I manage to get up early to make few more cards to sample them in a Flower Shop in Festival Centre, the owner ask me to make something for babies, decided to make used of my quilled baby foot as an embellishment. Hi everyone!!! It's still a busy month of May but an Exciting one for me this time. Aside from we are still in the process of tiding up our new love nest, I was invited to display my Paper Crafts - PaperTole 3/D and Greeting Cards in 2 different local shops here in Dubai, U.A.E. as a consignment basis. One is a Flower Shop at Festival Centre, after Ms. Viviane staff spotted my greeting cards last Friday in our monthly ARTE Soukh, they encourages me to leave some samples to show to their Boss, without hesitation I left few pieces and there you go, the owner of the shops likes it. And the other one is a Gift & Novelty Shop called Heritage Touch in Meadows & The Greens community, we're I have met Ms. Shaheen the owner also at ARTE Soukh last Friday and encourages me too to display my crafts at her shop. Now, I'll be having 3 shops in all to display my craft, the other one is Cottage Chic in Jumeirah Beach Residence a home furnishing shop owned by Ms. Verna. It's that FANTASTIC!!!!

And I am expecting soon to teach Arts & Crafts to a very dear friend in her soon to open Scrapbooking & Cards Supplies Shop here in Dubai. Watch out for more ANNOUNCEMENTS.

It’s gonna be a very, very busy month, I tell you….

I've been very busy at work and looking for an apartment, place for us, since our lease contract right now will be expiring soon and hubby has traveled back to the Philippines to attend to some emergency problem. Dreamland- Ras Al Kaima

Hi!!!! I feel guilty for myself cause I have not even finish any single cards for the past few days, specially this weekend ;o(

Yesterday 26th March we been in Dreamland - Ras Al Kaima, it's a quite huge resort here in the U.A.E., with slides, kids pool, Jacuzzi, tennis court, bars and a lot more. It's almost 2 hrs drive from we're we leave. With us are our family friends, office colleagues of hubby and their families. We had so much fun. We left home around 7:30am and along the way we pick-up our friends and reach there at past 9:00am. It's worth having such a break from work and spent time with friends.

And today, 27th March I had to spend all day doing household chores, laundry, cleaning, cooking and a lot more.

Hopefully by tomorrow I can make some cards to share to all of you and join some challenges. Down here I'll be sharing some pix taken yesterday at the resort.

Hi, this coming end of April we're set to move again to another house. I think this will be our 6th times or more to move from one place to another since I got here 5 years ago ;o) can you believe that!!! That's our life here in Dubai, U.A.E. as expats. Renting a small shelter, I mean a studio or 1 bedroom flat here is no joke for somebody like us, it's too expensive.

This time, I've ask my husband's permission if is it alright to have a small garage sale, this coming weekend at home, at first he is hesitant, but good thing, he agrees ;o) Invited some of our close friends only.

Now, I'm having a terrible back pain tiding up stuff for the garage tomorrow ;o( Now I need to stop before it gets worse.
